What you get

No surprises. Here is an example of the free site check, the proposal you receive, and what happens after you say yes. The business below is fictional.

1. A free site check

Run it yourself in seconds, or we run it when you send a request. This is what it showed for an example bakery's WordPress site:

2. A clear, fixed-price proposal

Within 2 business days you get an email with a private link to your proposal. It looks like this:

Fixed price£780

Half before work starts, half on completion. No VAT is charged.

Hi Sam,

Thanks for sending over the details for the bakery's website. I have looked at the site, and bringing it up to date is a well-defined job that I can finish within two weeks.

What I will do
Take a full backup and set up a staging copy. Update WordPress, the theme and all plugins, and replace Slider Revolution, which is out of date, with a lighter, maintained slider. Move the site from PHP 7.4 to PHP 8.4 and fix anything that breaks. Turn on the HTTPS redirect and add standard security headers. Test every page, the order form and the mobile layout, then release it to the live site with a rollback ready.

Not included
Redesign or new content, new features, and premium plugin licences.

You will get a short note of everything that changed. If anything outside this scope comes up, I will quote it separately before doing it.

Best regards,
WebOps Foundry

The real proposal has an Accept button, and links to message us on WhatsApp or Telegram if you want to talk it through.

3. After you accept

  1. Access, safely. We send you a secure way to share hosting and site access. We never ask for passwords by email.
  2. Backup and staging. A full backup first, then all work happens on a copy of your site.
  3. You check it. You get a link to the staging copy to look over before anything goes live.
  4. Release. We put it live at a quiet time and check it straight away, with a rollback ready.
  5. Handover. A short, plain-English note of what changed, and anything we recommend for later.
